The red LED display of the 95Ri Recumbent Bike–self-powered by the rider through the 95Ri’s quiet belt-drive, eliminating the need for a power cords–has 9 language options, and can give the rider a huge variety of feedback on their workout, showing information including distance ridden, RPM, total calories consumed, calories burned per hour, heart rate, time, bike mode, and more. The bike can measure the rider’s heart rate using either the Lifepulse hand sensors built into the side grips, or through compatible wireless polar telemetry chest bands.
This degree of customization isn’t just limited to the digital display–the bike features 25 levels of resistance, and the pedals have 11 adjustment settings to choose from, giving the 95Ri Recumbent Bike a one-size-fits-all level of flexibility. The 95Ri is built to handle the rigors of frequent, daily use, with an impact-resistant plastic shell to protect the bike’s aesthetics, while the heavy duty welded steel frame allows it to support riders weighing up to 400 pounds.
The Life Fitness bike’s 29 programs are designed specifically to keep the rider motivated through a number of means. There are goal-based workouts to choose from, as well as proprietary Zone Training+ workouts that change the resistance level on the fly in order to keep riders at their desired heart rate target.
